1287 votes have made Sitges Grup Independent the fifth most voted party in the municipal elections last May 26. This means 544 more votes than in 2015, with which the group also gets a total of two councilors in the new council.
The head of the list David Martínez was very satisfied with the results, and regrets not having obtained a third councilor by few votes. Even so, he wanted to thank all those who voted for Sitges GI and remarked that "we will work for all the people of Sitges and we will fight to improve the town and make us all proud of our town".
According to the leader of Sitges GI "now we have to be cautious because now is the time to sit down and dialogue with everyone and think about the best for Sitges."
The constitution of the new plenary session will be next Saturday, June 15 in the Plenary Hall of the Sitges City Council.
